Jiro-style ramen: ultra-thick noodles under a free mountain of vegetables, garlic and back fat. A small size with 125g of noodles means "even first-timers worried about the volume are safe." The standard bowl is 250g of noodles with two slices of pork chashu; the combination of sweet, well-cooked bean sprouts and a punchy soup is described as addictive. Buy a ticket at the outdoor machine — it even takes ¥10,000 notes. The friendly owner makes it a comfortable place, and some regulars come weekly.
