Lunch of 10 nigiri plus fish ara-jiru for around ¥790–1,000 — startling pricing. "Double the price à la carte," "astonishing content for ¥1,000 in this day and age" — the value reviews pile up. The ara-jiru is the real thing, loaded with fish. Shellfish — tsubugai, akagai — draw praise for freshness and snap. Tablet ordering shows per-two-piece prices, making it easy to add on. Chefs press the sushi in front of you.
