Plans by what you want to do
What you prioritise decides how the day goes.
- Ramen only: eat between 11:00 and 16:00. Without a fireworks ticket you cannot enter when it reopens at 20:00. The same ten Session 1 shops are there on Sun 22 and Mon 23 November (public holiday)
- Ramen + Gamba match: eat at lunchtime, then head to the 16:00 kick-off. After the match (from 20:00) Ramen EXPO is for fireworks ticket holders only
- Ramen + fireworks: you need a fireworks ticket (general sale from 3 October; if advance sales reach capacity, no tickets will be sold on the day). Ramen at lunchtime → fireworks at 19:00 → back to Ramen EXPO after 20:00
On the day (from the official fireworks guidance)
Getting into the park works differently on fireworks day.
- From 16:30 the Central Gate is the only entrance to the park
- The fireworks organiser names Bampaku-kinen-koen station on the Osaka Monorail as the station to use (Koen-higashiguchi station cannot be used)
- The organiser recommends arriving at the station by 16:00. When crowded, walking from the station to the fireworks area can take over an hour
- The fireworks go ahead in rain as a rule (umbrellas are not allowed). A cancellation would be announced on the official site after 10:00 on the day
- The park closing time for people without a fireworks ticket had not been announced as of 9 October 2026
From 22 November: the Tower of the Sun at night
From Sunday 22 November, every Ramen EXPO day has a projection-mapping show on the Tower of the Sun in the evening (17:00–21:00). Free with park admission.
